Sarnen, Switzerland – 5 October 2026 – Swiss climate-tech company SensorX Solutions AG has secured CHF 1.5 million in growth financing to accelerate international scale-up. The financing package combines a loan guarantee from the Swiss Technology Fund with equity capital from private investors and the founding team. As an instrument of the Swiss Confederation's climate policy, the Technology Fund provides loan guarantees to Swiss companies whose innovative products contribute to a sustainable reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. The financing will support production scale-up, engineering and delivery capacity, customer deployments and
continued development of SensorX's methane and greenhouse-gas measurement technologies.

“SensorX Solutions AG is offering a tool set to better manage gas leaks and related emissions. By supporting innovative Swiss cleantech companies during their growth phase, the Technology Fund helps bring solutions with significant climate impact to market faster”, says Simone Riedel Riley, General Manager of the Swiss Technology Fund.

“With commercial traction established across Switzerland, Europe and North America, our focus is now on scale,” said Sanket Bhatia, Founder and CEO of SensorX Solutions AG.

“This financing gives us the flexibility to expand production, strengthen delivery capabilities and support larger customer deployments while continuing to invest in our technology platform.”

Commercial traction built on a deep-tech platform

Founded in Switzerland in 2023, SensorX develops advanced methane measurement technologies for energy companies and infrastructure operators.

SensorX has progressed from early-stage R&D to commercial products and field deployments, with customers and technology partners across Europe and international markets. In Europe, demand is increasingly shaped by the EU Methane Regulation and voluntary frameworks such as OGMP 2.0.

At the core of SensorX’s portfolio is its FluX technology platform, combining high-performance laser-based gas sensing with emissions quantification, field workflows and digital reporting across walking, vehicle, UAV and continuous stationary measurement configurations.

The technology roadmap is expanding into site-level quantification, underwater methane detection and broader greenhouse-gas measurement applications.

SensorX has received the Investor’s Choice Award at Energy Startup Day and Best Solution at the ZHAW Energy & Environment Innovation Day; FluX Multi was also nominated for the Green Business Award and selected for the Swiss Excellence Product Award 2026 in the Startup category.

“Operators increasingly need to understand where methane emissions occur, how large they are and how measurement results can be turned into defensible operational and regulatory data. That is the problem SensorX is building its platform to solve,” Bhatia added.
